[Rumori] venue in Vegas?

I used to go to Las Vegas about once a year, just to
check things out, etc. I tried to find "cool" things
to do and--big surprise--pickings are slim there.
There is a college radion station at UNLV which is
pretty good (or was a few years ago) and the cool
record store is Mr. B's (sorry no contact info). Lots
and lots of electronica at the store; I also found a
new copy of the Eraserhead sndtk CD, which I had never
seen in a store before; friend MJ got some Albert
Ayler. Anyway, I'd say check with these places.
Chances are if you can set anything up there it'll
either be in some teenager's mom's house or in some
far-flung strip mall coffee shop, which like six
people there. I'm serious about this. Low expectations
and an appreciation of the absurd go a long way in LV.
I can't wait to hear your stories tho...
