Open Devices Mix
Plug and Play

Tuesday 29 May 6-8pm

Fire up your audio-visual devices, home-made
optics, overhead projectors, laptops, guitar
pedals and CD-Rs - calling all a/v performers,
musicians, projectionists, sound artists: the
FAV-SC open devices mix is returning. Bring your
gear to plug and play in the Footscray Arts
warehouse building.

In late 2006 we opened up the Pit for the first
open devices mix, highlights included
early-generation video porta-pak optical
experiments, live software video mixing, field
recordings and radio collage mash-ups, impromptu
DJ collaborations, ocker MC battles, wall-tall
video projections of experimental bi-pedal robots,
pschedelic animations from Rhode Island and 1960's
turkish super-hero feature films. Bring your
devices get amplified!
