[Rumori] Marilyn Monroe is now Public Domain

...anyone has comments about the latest decision? One was taken last yr
and apparently on march 18, 2008 there was another strong point against
Anna Strasberg and the agency that represents her "Marilyn Monroe"
so-called properties.
Of course you still have copyrights controlled by photographers, movie
studios etc. but this creates lotsa new possibilities... (here's one

Now I hope someone stops Buddy Holly's widow from requesting more law
changes...

p.s. this list has been too quiet lately and in Europe we are also now
at risk of having a copyright law even worse than the American one...
this because some corrupted European Commission guy (I have suspects EMI
or someone like that is behind him) wants to have longer terms for
copyright on recorded masters and other stuff. I will have to write
something about that for a site... there is a petition already and the
EFF is taking care of it too
