[Rumori] some recent news

Hello, long time, Rumorians,

Long long ago, so long ago that Google can't help me find the particular 
post, I wrote to this list about a plan to someday implement some kind 
of paid content feed that I called "subscribe to steev'. This was i 
think probably in the last century, almost certainly sometime before 
2002, long before "crowdfunding" or "substack" or "patreon" were 
glimmers in anyone's eyes.

Well, I'm proud to announce that because those things exist now, or at 
least the third one, "Subscribe to Steev" is a reality, because I 
started a Patreon about one month ago. The idea is not so much to raise 
funds, but just to create another avenue for friends/fans/supporters to 
follow, more closely and more effectively than via social media, the 
artistic efforts I'm still involved in, thereby helping me in resisting 
the inertia of apathy, aging, existential ennui, etc, ad nauseum, ad 
infinitum. Anyway, the location of said avenue is

There, you can find somewhat regular posts about my ongoing music, paper 
collage, metal sculpture, and other creative endeavors. For as little as 
one US buck you can receive exclusive and somewhat more regular 
additional posts about the same, and there are other tiers beyond that 
with other proportional benefits and advantages. Hopefully I will see 
some of you there. Being a part of a community is even more important 
than ever, and this list, for a long time, was a source of great 
feelings of belongingness and communityness and encouragingness, and 
more. Sometimes I miss that. Sometimes I miss you all.
